"Absolutely beautiful location and food was delicious. Very nice waitress!!!! Love that they support our president it was the night before valentine so of course it was a long wait but definitely worth it!!!!"
"This is a very cool old-fashioned hometown cooking restaurant with a lot of unique items from the past. Very much worth the drive. Will be going back."
"The most unique place you will see in the area. Great food, friendly service. Larger than it looks. We spent most of our time looking at all of the memorabilia in the building. The surrounding buildings are interesting to look at also."
"We recently visited the depot for a Christmassy vibe and good dinner. The service was impeccable and the atmosphere was just what we were looking for but our salmon and steak were not. Both were overcooked and were not the best cuts. Steak was tough and dry and the salmon was almost powdery. I sent my steak back. Our waiter returned with another that was cooked a little better but not tender or juicy at all. I had aalmost finished my baked potato and the rest was cold so I did not enjoy my meal whatsoever. We will wait awhile and try again. I remember enjoying my meals there. Hopefully I will again!"
"First time here in many many years. I went today to celebrate a friend's birthday . We did have a large crowd so we made reservations. The restaurant is very large. When you first walk in you will have a beautiful waterfall with a nature scene. Beautiful backdrop to set the mood for the experience. If you go right from there you will come into a large room that was set up for large groups. Fireplace at one end. Going back past the indoor water feature you will come across the bar area. It's set up like a old saloon style bar. It has bars over the windows to fit the time period. Going past the bar you have your restrooms. Then continuing down the hall you will come to another dining area set up for smaller groups our families. We arrived right at 12pm for our reservations. We were lead straight to our tables. Our group took up two tables with over 20 people including children. Our wait staff was great even with the amount of people they were taking care of. The food was excellent. Once you are through eating there is a shop you can visit along with a gazebo with a water feature, a church, a covered bridge and many other buildings. It's definitely worth the drive. They also host events and weddings. I highly recommend!"
"We happen to find this restaurant on Google and absolutely love it!! The food was wonderful and the staff were amazing!! They seem to have their staff assigned to certain tasks and all of them worked together so well!! Every restaurant should do this a split the tips! If you are have a chance to visit this hidden gem I would highly recommend it!"
"The Depot is accessible from North and southbound US Highway 421, North and Southbound US Highway 52, and East and Westbound Interstate 74 by using US Highway 601. Myself and two grandsons took my wife and my son here for their birthdays. My wife ordered the Depot Filet well done, my son the New York Strip medium rare, I got the Black Jack Burger medium rare, one grandson got the Depot Burger medium well and the other grandson got the New Orleans Pasta. Everyone's food was served hot and cooked as it was ordered along with large sides. The food was great and our waitress was Outstanding"
